The COVID-19 pandemic did not discourage the creativity of Daffa Pranadjaja in creating works. Daffa is a student of SAE Indonesia’s Music Business course and grandson of renowned Indonesian seriosa singer Pranadjaja. Movievaganza itself is a musical performance that plays back songs from popular international films and was held for the first time in 2017. At that time the theme was ‘Sci-Fi Fantasy’; songs from The Star Wars, Superman, Jurassic Park, Avengers and others are performed in orchestral format.

Early in 2019 Daffa and his friends plan to host another Movievaganza and this time choose a Disney theme. Still with orchestral format and added choir from Bina Vokalia Pranadjaja. Production is already underway, starting from arrangements, rehearsals, until it has set the location of the event, namely in ciputra artpreneur building, Jakarta. Unsansed, COVID-19 took place in Indonesia and all that process had to be postponed. For 2 months there was no progress, until finally Daffa and the team remodeled the concept of the show into a virtual concert. Due to the limited space and time, this virtual event cannot involve an orchestra, only performances from members of Pranadjaja’s Theatrical Group who sing against the backdrop of footage of Disney films. Preparations are carried out from July to August 2020. Because in previous months the members of Pranadjaja’s Theatrical Group have been re-reseed, so all that needs to be done is filming only; of course by complying with health protocols: 1 child and a guide in 1 room.

The event was opened by Daffa Pranadjaja. As a storyteller he opens a ledger and ‘reads’ an introduction to Disney’s magical and colorful world. “Each of us has dreams, desires of heart, It calls us. And when we are brave enough to listen and brave enough to pursue, that dream will take us on a journey to discover who we are. All you need to do is look into your heart and unlock the magic in it.”

It was followed by a performance of ‘The 5 Muses’ from the 1997 film Hercules.

“In each of us there are dreamers waiting to be awakened. We all have the magic to unlock this Inner Child, but sometimes inner child needs an invitation to go out and play, this is your invitation to dream,” Daffa said.

Princesses from Disney famous films such as Hercules, Beauty and The Beast, Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Alladin, Pocahontas, Moana, Rapunzel, Mulan, sing medley of songs as they are excited, happy, and in love.

The show closed with the soundtrack of Let It Go from Frozen sung by all members of Pranadjaja’s Theatrical Group.
