Every year, SAE Indonesia holds 2 batch of short courses of Electronic Music Production (EMP); in March and November, and held for 5 months. At the end of each course, the participants held a live performance as a condition of graduation. Before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, EMP’s last live performance was in February 2020.

After almost a year, on Tuesday (26/1) yesterday, EMP live performance was held again. Participants of EMP course in September 2020 consists of 4 participants: Dyanda, Nicholas Ananda, Syaffa Naila, and Ariq. The event was held in the auditorium of SAE Indonesia campus. Each participant complied with health protocols by wearing masks and keeping their distance. In addition, they are allowed to invite a maximum of 2 people to watch the show.

All participants use Ableton Live. Ableton is a Digital Audio Work (DAW) station and audio sequencer system that allows musicians to store and play samples during gigs.

With all the limitations caused by the current pandemic, it does not prevent creative energy from continuing to flow!
